Hope, loved all the pictures and I always am moved by your words. Just read this verse before I read your blog: "May the God of HOPE fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with HOPE (how?) by the power of the Holy Spirit" (Romans 15:13) Love you! Caroline
Dear friends, How God brought you to mind so often over Christmas and your time in Butler. We just kept praying. I love how God is giving you hope, true hope in eternity with Him, and with Alaina. I also delight in seeing you and your family smile and celebrate the good things of today, even while still desperately missing your girl.
Precious absolutely precious!!! loved closing the door message...so encouraging. Your blog impacts me so much. May your HOPE in the Lord be renewed daily. I pray for you OFTEN!
"You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock." Isaiah 26:3,4
He has been our rock more than ever before since July 2,2008. This is the day we found our four year old daughter, Alaina ("Lew") who died unexpectedly during the night. She was sick the day before with what we thought to be a stomach virus. We still don't have all the "medical answers" but we believe fully that her days were ordained before the foundation of the world. So this is our story Along the Road....trusting in a God who is good and uses everything in our lives for His glory no matter how hard and painful it may be. Really, this is HIS story... He is the author and perfecter and we are just characters in the story. I pray all the details will point you to Him.
